Origin: Europe

Characteristics: Heartwood is whitish-pink to yellow. Some can have hints of grey. Grain is somewhat wavy with a fine texture. Many logs produce a mottled type figure in quarter grain. Has also been marketed as Figured French Aspen.

Use: Architectural woodwork, furniture and doors.
