This rare specie’s rich color and coarse grain combine to give it amazing depth!

  • Latin name: Cordia ssp., Nectandra ssp., Ocotea ssp.

    Origin: Central and South America

    Characteristics: Heartwood color varies from beautiful medium brown to olive-brown almost black, with frequent long darker streaks. Grain is somewhat coarse and can be straight or irregular with varying texture from conservative to extremely wild.

    Uses: Architectural woodwork and fine furniture.
